## Questions and answers

**Who can book a session?**

Our complimentary photography experience is offered for guests of Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort. When you book, we ask for your room number and check-out date so we can make sure you have time to view your photos before you leave.

**What does the session cost?**

The session is complimentary, with no session fee and no obligation to buy. After your 45-minute session, we edit your photos overnight and invite you back the next day for a private viewing. At the viewing, you choose and purchase only the photos you love. Collections start at $695 for 20 high-resolution digital images, and single images are $89 each.

**How long is the session, and where do we go?**

Sessions last 45 minutes. We start in the lobby and take you to several scenic spots around the property, finishing at the beach. Each spot gives you a different Hawaiian backdrop. The time goes by faster than you think.

Please meet your photographer in the Andaz Maui lobby, next to the concierge desk.

**How do I book, and how far ahead?**

You can book online from 24 hours up to 6 months ahead at https://amw.fullslate.com/services/1. For shorter notice, email amw@pacificdreamphotography.com or call (808) 243-4797. Sessions book quickly, so we recommend reserving early in your stay. This leaves time to reschedule if needed and to come back for your viewing before you check out.

**What's the best time of day?**

Every session time is beautiful. We offer sessions in the soft morning and afternoon light, starting at 7:00 am, 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 4:45 pm and 5:45 pm. Choose the time that works best for your family. With young children, morning sessions are often the happiest.

**Who are sessions for?**

Sessions are for families, multi-generational groups, couples, honeymooners, friends and solo travelers. Many guests book for an anniversary, proposal, maternity session or birthday. When you book, tell us what you are celebrating, the ages of any children, and any special instructions for your photographer. If you have photographed with us before, let us know if there is a photo you would like to recreate.

**Are young children OK?**

Yes, we love photographing families with children. Please share the children's ages when you book, and we will plan around them. Morning sessions often work best for little ones. If they get tired, your photographer can finish the session early.

**What should we wear?**

Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. You can coordinate outfits, dress up or keep it casual. Whites, khakis, light blues, pastels and bright colors photograph well; we suggest avoiding black, navy and fine patterns. Your confirmation email includes a link to our What to Wear guide.

**Should we bring our phones or cameras?**

There's no need. Please leave your phones and cameras in your room so you can be fully present together. Let us capture these moments for you.

**When do we see our photos?**

We edit your photos overnight and invite you to our on-site studio the next day for your viewing, which takes 20 to 60 minutes. We go through your photos together and review package options, and you only purchase the images you love. To schedule your viewing, reply to your confirmation email with your preferred time between 9 am and 3 pm, or email amw@pacificdreamphotography.com.

**What do we receive?**

You receive high-resolution digital images, delivered in an online gallery where you download them. You have full rights to the images you purchase. We also offer prints on paper, canvas and metal, as well as albums, shipped to your home.

**Can you remove people from the background?**

Yes. Removing people from the background of your purchased images is free on request. Other retouching is $100 for up to 5 images.

**What if we need to cancel or reschedule?**

Plans change, and we're happy to help you find a new time. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your photo session. A no-show or a cancellation within 24 hours of the session carries a $150 fee. You can change or cancel online up to 24 hours before your session, or email amw@pacificdreamphotography.com or call (808) 243-4797. If you need to move your viewing, just let us know as early as you can.

**Can you photograph a proposal?**

Yes. Choose "Proposal" as your session type when you book, or email us to plan ahead. We coordinate the timing with you in advance and place your photographer ahead of time. After the moment itself, we continue with portraits of you both.

**Do you photograph weddings or events?**

Yes. Our Maui team photographs weddings and special events, including corporate events. Email amw@pacificdreamphotography.com to share your ideas with us.
