## Questions and answers

**Who can book a session?**
The complimentary photography experience is offered exclusively for guests of the Fairmont Kea Lani.

**What does the session cost?**
The experience is complimentary and comes in two parts. First, a 45-minute guided session with your photographer, with no session fee and no obligation to buy. Then, the next day, a private viewing at our on-site studio, where you choose and purchase only the photos you love. Collections start at $695 for 20 high-resolution digital images, and single digital images are $89 each.

**How long is the session, and where do we go?**
45 minutes. We take you to several of the resort's most scenic locations, ending on the beach, for a variety of beautiful Hawaiian backdrops. It goes by faster than you think.

**Where do we meet?**
Meet your photographer in the Fairmont Kea Lani lobby, near the concierge desk. Our on-site studio, where you come back for your viewing, is across from KO Restaurant.

**How do I book, and how far ahead?**
Book online at https://fkl.fullslate.com/ from 24 hours up to one year ahead. You can also email fkl@pacificdreamphotography.com or call (808) 866-2349. Sessions book quickly, so we recommend reserving early in your stay. That leaves time to reschedule if someone is not feeling their best, and time to see your photos in person before you check out.

**What's the best time of day?**
Every session time is beautiful. We offer sessions in the soft morning light at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 am, and in the afternoon light at 3:45, 4:45 and 5:45 pm. Choose what works best for your family and let us do the rest. Sunrise sessions are often a good fit for families with young children.

**Who are sessions for?**
Families, couples, multi-generational families, maternity and honeymoon sessions, solo travelers, and guests with special needs or disabilities. The online booking form takes groups of up to 15. When you book, tell us everyone's first names, children's ages, what you are celebrating and the kinds of photos you would love.

**Are young children OK?**
Yes, we love photographing children. Sessions are 45 minutes, and if little ones get tired, we can end the session early. Let us know their ages when you book so your photographer can plan for them.

**What should we wear?**
Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Whether you coordinate outfits, dress up or keep it casual, the best photos come from families who are relaxed and having fun. Whites, khakis, light blues, pastels and bright colors photograph well. Black, navy and fine patterns photograph less well. Your confirmation email links to our What to Wear ideas.

**What should we bring?**
No need for your personal cameras or phones. Please leave them in your room and let us capture these moments for you, so your family can be fully present together.

**When do we see our photos?**
We edit your photos overnight and invite you back to our on-site studio the next day to view them, between 9 am and 3 pm. During the viewing, we review your photos together and talk through package options. You only buy the photos you love. **Can we view online instead?**
Seeing your photos in person is the second half of the experience, so please book a session that leaves time for a viewing before you check out. If your plans change, email fkl@pacificdreamphotography.com before your session.

**What do we receive, and how do we pay?**
You receive high-resolution digital images to download from your online gallery, with full rights to the images you purchase. Prints on glossy or matte paper, canvas and metal, from 4x6 up to 30x40, can be ordered and shipped to your home. We accept all credit cards and Apple Pay.

**Can you remove people from the background?**
Yes. We remove people from the background of the images you purchase free of charge. Other retouching is $100 for up to 5 images.

**What if we need to cancel or reschedule?**
Please give at least 24 hours' notice. A no-show or a cancellation within 24 hours of your session carries a $150 fee, charged to your room. You can change or cancel online up to 24 hours before your session. We are always happy to help you reschedule.

**Can you photograph a proposal or a wedding?**
Yes. Fairmont Kea Lani is a beautiful setting for romantic moments and wedding photography. For a surprise proposal, we coordinate timing with you in advance and place the photographer ahead of time. Email fkl@pacificdreamphotography.com with your date, time and plans.
