## Questions and answers

**Who can book a session?**
The complimentary photography experience is offered exclusively for guests of Fairmont Orchid Hawaii. When you book, we ask for your room number. If your room is not assigned yet, enter "TBD".

**What does the session cost?**
The session is complimentary, with no session fee and no obligation to buy. After your session, we edit your images overnight and invite you to a private viewing at our studio. There you purchase only the photos you love. Collections start at $695 for 20 high-resolution digital images, and single images are $89 each.

**How long is the session, and where do we go?**
Sessions last 45 minutes. Your photographer takes you to some of the resort's most scenic spots first and finishes at the beach. You get a variety of tropical backdrops, from gardens to coastal views, without leaving the property.

**How do I book, and how far ahead?**
Book online at https://foh.fullslate.com/ from 24 hours up to 6 months ahead. For a session less than 24 hours away, email foh@pacificdreamphotography.com or call (808) 887-7341, and we will check availability. Sessions book quickly, so we recommend reserving early in your stay. That leaves time for your viewing the next day before you check out.

**What's the best time of day?**
Every session time is beautiful. We offer appointments in the soft morning and afternoon light, at 7:15 am, 8:00 am and 8:15 am, and at 4:15 pm and 5:15 pm. Choose the time that works best for your family. For young children, a morning session is often the easiest.

**Who are sessions for?**
Sessions are for families, couples, multi-generation families, friends and solo travelers. When you book, you can tell us what you are celebrating, the types of shots you would like, and any disabilities or special needs, so we can prepare. For parties of 7 or more, please contact the studio directly.

**Are young children OK?**
Yes. Our sessions are relaxed, candid adventures where your family can laugh and explore together. Let us know your children's ages when you book. If little ones get tired, your photographer can end the session early.

**What should we wear?**
Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. You can coordinate outfits, dress up or keep it casual. Light colors photograph well, such as whites, khakis, light blues and pastels. Darker colors like black and navy, and fine patterns, work less well. Your confirmation email also links to our What to Wear guide.

**Should we bring our cameras or phones?**
No need. Please leave your cameras in your room and let us capture these moments for you. No phones, no iPads, no distractions, just time together.

**When do we see our photos?**
We edit your images overnight. You can view and purchase them as early as the following morning at the Pacific Dream Photography studio. The viewing takes 20 to 60 minutes and must be scheduled in advance, before you leave the resort. When you book, you choose a preferred viewing time (9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 2 pm or 3 pm), and we confirm it with you.

**What if we haven't scheduled our viewing?**
Email foh@pacificdreamphotography.com with your preferred viewing time while you are staying at the Fairmont Orchid. Please make sure your viewing fits in before your check-out date.

**What do we receive?**
You receive professionally edited high-resolution digital images to download from an online gallery, with full rights to the images you purchase. We also offer prints on paper, canvas and metal, plus albums, which can be shipped to your home.

**What if we need to cancel?**
Please make any cancellations or changes at least 24 hours before your session. You can change or cancel online up to 24 hours ahead, or contact the studio. No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours carry a $150 fee.

**Can you photograph a proposal?**
Yes. Email foh@pacificdreamphotography.com with your preferred date, time and any dinner plans afterward. We will coordinate the timing with you in advance. Your photographer will be in place ahead of time to capture the moment and then take portraits of you both.
