## Questions and answers

**Who can book a session?**

The complimentary photography experience is offered exclusively for guests of The Resort at Kapalua Bay. When you book, we ask for your room or residence number. If it has not been assigned yet, enter "TBD".

**What does the session cost?**

The session is complimentary, with no session fee and no obligation to buy. After your session, we edit your images and invite you back for a private viewing, where you purchase only the photos you love. Collections start at $695 for 20 high-resolution digital images, and single images are $89 each.

**How long is the session, and where do we go?**

Sessions last 45 minutes. We take you to several of the resort's most scenic spots and finish on the beach, so you get many beautiful Hawaiian backdrops. It goes by faster than you think.

**Where do we meet?**

Please meet your photographer in the lobby of The Resort at Kapalua Bay, by the entrance.

**How do I book, and how far ahead?**

Book online at https://mkb.fullslate.com/ from 24 hours up to one year ahead. For shorter notice, email mkb@pacificdreamphotography.com or call (808) 726-2340. Sessions book quickly, so we recommend reserving early in your stay. That leaves time for your viewing before you check out.

**What's the best time of day?**

Every session time is beautiful. Online, sessions start at 7:00 am or 8:00 am, in soft morning light. Morning is also a great choice for families with young children.

**Who are sessions for?**

Sessions are for families, couples, multi-generation families, friends and solo travelers. When you book, tell us the ages of any children and what you are celebrating. You can also mention the kinds of shots you would love and any special instructions.

**Is there a limit on group size?**

Parties of seven or more have a $150 sitting fee. If your group is very large, please email mkb@pacificdreamphotography.com before booking so we can plan your session.

**Are young children OK?**

Yes, we love photographing children. Every session is 45 minutes and we do not offer mini sessions. If little ones get tired, your photographer can finish early. Let us know your children's ages when you book.

**What should we wear?**

Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. You can coordinate outfits, dress up or keep it casual. Whites, khakis, light blues, pastels and bright colors photograph well, while black, navy and fine patterns are best avoided. Dress the way you would like to remember this vacation. **What should we bring?**

Bring just yourselves and what you need to feel your best. Please leave phones and cameras away or in your room, and let us capture these moments for you. No phones, no iPads, no distractions: just time together.

**When do we see our photos?**

Your images are professionally edited overnight. You can view them as early as the following morning at the Pacific Dream Photography studio on property. The viewing takes 20 to 60 minutes and must be scheduled in advance, before you leave the resort. When booking, you can request a viewing time of 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm or 2 pm, and we will confirm it with you by email.

**What do we receive?**

You receive high-resolution digital images that you download from your online gallery. You have full rights to the images you purchase. Prints, including paper, canvas and metal, can be ordered and shipped to your home.

**What if we need to cancel?**

Plans change, and we're happy to help you find a new time. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your photo session. A no-show or a cancellation within 24 hours of the session carries a $150 fee. You can change or cancel online up to 24 hours before your session, or email mkb@pacificdreamphotography.com. If you need to move your viewing, just let us know as early as you can.

**Can you photograph a proposal?**

Yes. Email mkb@pacificdreamphotography.com with your date, preferred time and location, and any dinner plans afterward. We will coordinate the timing with you in advance and place the photographer ahead of time. We photograph the proposal itself, followed by portraits of you both.
