There's something about the Hawaiian Islands that bring out an array of emotions for those that experience the beauty of what it's magic has to offer. Often times, we see couples escape here to the islands for a memorable trip of a lifetime, and at Pacific Dream Photography, we are here to capture those special moments that you'll hang on to forever.
Upon meeting Matthias and Jasmine, their energy and love for one another beamed through their radiant smiles. The two had traveled from Germany to spend a week on the Big Island of Hawaii for a relaxing yet adventure filled trip. Little did Jasmine know, Matthias had planned his marriage proposal for Jasmine and a Hawaii photo session with Pacific Dream Photography to commemorate it.
On a warm sunset session with Pacific Dream Photography, Matthias and Jasmine let their love shine through our lens with a sunset to compliment the two on their engagement. From all of us at Pacific Dream Photography, congratulations to the beautiful couple! A Hui Hou! Until we meet again.

The Big Island of Hawaii holds a variety of incredibly beautiful locations for that perfect day. From a vintage country theme in the lush mountains, to a romantic white sandy beach escape, there are so many fabulous options to choose from when booking your venue for your special ceremony.
Hannah and Owen decided to have their intimate wedding on a beachfront property in Puako located on the Kona Kohala Coast. With their immediate family by their sides, the two were married on a breezy Hawaiian afternoon. As Hawaii Wedding Photographers, we were lucky enough to be asked to join the happy couple to capture their memorable day.
When we arrived at the home on the day of the wedding, Hannah greeted us at the front door with her infectious smile beaming through the glass door. The house was breathtaking as we followed her on a short tour through the back to overlook the beach where the ceremony would be held. Hannah was calm, collected, and glowing, knowing that she’d be marrying her dream man within a few short hours.
A short and sweet ceremony and an illustrious Hawaiian sunset photo shoot later, the party made their way to the Fairmont Orchid for their private reception dinner to follow. Complete with a traditional family game, messy cutting of the cake, and an evening of dancing, it truly was an affair to remember.
Upon seeing their photos, Hannah wrote us this. “Yes, we are the people in the video and pictures, and our story is near and dear to our hearts, but the way you captured our big day was absolutely astounding!”
From all of us at Pacific Dream Photography and Coral Weddings, Congratulations, Lieutenant and Mrs. Keller!

We absolutely love capturing the memories of family vacations and beautiful weddings. However, that is not all that we offer for services here at Pacific Dream Photography. Allow us to tell you more about our Corporate Photography.
Very often, we are also part of company's incentive programs or meetings in a beautiful place away from the office. As photographers, it is a pleasure to see hard-working individuals let loose and having fun in a different environment.
For a company, it's an opportunity to recognize your company’s employees and commend them on their hard work and the commitment they bring to the team. Whether it is an elegant awards ceremony or treating them to a fun-filled day of zip-lining, our team of photographers will be there to commemorate the well-deserved celebration of your successes.
Allow us to capture the emotion of an award being received, your colleagues and their spouses enjoying the beauty of a Hawaiian sunset, or the laughter that comes with a co-worker being pulled on stage by a Hula performer.... "Who knew Bill from Customer Service could shake it like that?"
You and your team will be utterly thankful for having photographic proof of it.

One of the most common concerns we hear from our parents upon booking their family session with us is whether or not the kids will cooperate being in front of a camera. With all that expendable energy that children have (especially from the excitement of being on vacation!) our experts here at Pacific Dream Photography have some tips and pointers to best prepare your kids for a successful fun photo shoot.
1. Consider Time Difference
Jet lag can be a real drag, especially if you’re traveling from the other side of the world to enjoy paradise. Your kids are probably feeling it too! Whether they show signs of exhaustion or not, make sure they are well rested and get a good night’s sleep before a shoot. This will help avoid any yawns and sleepy faces in the photos!
If you have your child on a nap routine, make sure you aren’t scheduling your session around the same time!
2. Avoid Sunburn
Just a friendly reminder: always wear sunscreen! The Hawaiian sun is harsh and although it’s difficult to avoid while attending your fun outdoor activities, make sure you’re protecting yourself and little ones as much as possible. Sunburns are painful and they easily show up in a photo!
3. Wear Comfortable Clothing
Ensure your child’s comfort by dressing them in something they can move around in while not getting too over heated. Shorts and short-sleeved shirts are recommended!
4. Bring A Snack
Often times during the afternoon sessions, families will make dinner reservations for after the photo shoot. Bring something to munch on just in case the kids can’t fight the hunger until dinnertime.
5. Have FUN!
Our photographers encourage kids to be themselves and have a blast during our photo shoots. Capturing their personalities is our goal for creating memories you will cherish forever, and allowing them to play during your session will do just that. After all, they’re on vacation too!

Here in Hawaii, we celebrate 'Ohana everyday. The word itself not only translates from Hawaiian into the English term to family, but 'Ohana embodies a concept, as well. In the Hawaiian culture, it is the sacred everlasting bond you share with your loved ones- a bond you must always remember and never forget.
For this family, their trip to the Big Island of Hawaii this past summer was the perfect escape to reconnect with each other and celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of their loving grandparents. What better way to commemorate this milestone than to reunite with your kids and grandchildren in paradise?
We were given the wonderful opportunity to capture this beautiful family’s time here and provide them with memories they could take home and remember forever. The individual families traveled from all over the country to meet here on the Kona-Kohala Coast for a week of sun-filled activities and much-needed relaxation.
The family chose the popular sunset time for their photo session. All 15 members arrived at our studio, spreading a contagious energy of laughter and excitement throughout room. With the grandkids ages ranging from 6-19, their photo shoot was filled with play, singing and even some choreographed dancing!
Going through the final photos of their session, we're overwhelmed with how much love this Ohana has for one another as it showed effortlessly through their collection of memories.
