This month, Grand Wailea distributed another round of groceries to its employees’ families as part of the “Share and Care” initiative. It’s a way of giving back to the community and making sure their employees pass safely through these hard times.
Grand Wailea, Maui, has started the “Share and Care” initiative to support the community during the lockdown. The resort’s effort included distributing groceries to help Mother’s Day celebration, snacks and face masks to the families of the Boys and Girls Club of Maui, bentos to Maui’s homeless, and personal care kits to the nonprofit organization Women Helping Women.
The resort is also known for its green programs that include using local farm products, recycling, low-water landscaping, and sustainable accommodation. Caring for the community and environment is a great way of creating beautiful memories and share the spirit of Aloha.
